If there are other dimensions, then space isn’t the final frontier. Maybe, that was a bit of aspirational conceit on the part of Star Trek, as the depths of the oceans and the recesses of the human mind haven’t been fully explored.
Do white people have memory? Read a speech given by the Texas Democrat nominee for Senate. He is lauding his ancestor who signed some document freeing the white man from the tyranny of Mexico. That is the white man’s lie. Mexico invited them, then the white males stole the land through violence. Remember the Mexican-American War–1846-1848–an expression of the policy of Manifest Destiny espoused by the United States to acquire land by any means necessary from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean? So be proud of your land stealing ancestor. I think Barbara Jordan whom he referred to in a bid to mollify the Black voters in Texas would call him out.
Also remember all the treaties with the Native Americans that the United States never intended to abide by. (Same going on with Iran.) As soon as some white male found something of value on land ceded to the Native Americans…the treaty was then a piece of paper of no effect. Honor is not a word that the United States understands and does not aspire to.
I went out barefoot before noon and the pavement was so hot that I had to go back inside and put on shoes.
I have never understood…how can a non-citizen be counted as part of your base to give you more power than you deserve? So, if a white person needs numbers, any person, even 3/5ths of a person who is a non-citizen is fine. But that person, once a citizen, cannot vote for people who look like them because the system ensures that those people have been deemed non-electable. When does the insanity stop?
Birthright citizenship was upheld birthright citizenship which by normal reading means that anyone born on the U.S. is a citizen. The skin traitor dissented with an white supremacist argument that the 14th amendment was only meant to apply to the former Slaves, i.e., overturning the Dred Scott decision. (Which, if he knew history, he would know that the Dred Scott decision also applied to free Blacks.) However, the whites who wrote the bill knew how to target a particular group of people. The 14th amendment explicitly mentioned Indians and those not subject to the jurisdiction to the United States. And…
In Justice Brown’s concurrence– she stated the following:
The Civil Rights Act of 1866—the predecessor to the Citizenship Clause, see ante, at 8–9—was initially drafted as a spot treatment. Senator Lyman Trumbull’s first proposal homed in on the freedmen and provided merely that “all persons of African descent born in the United States are hereby declared to be citizens of the United States.”34 If that language had prevailed, the view JUSTICE THOMAS asserts today might be well founded. See post, at 4–5 (finding birthright citizenship’s “feudal” origins inconsistent with Congress’s focus on “secur[ing] equal rights for the freed blacks”). I read the opinion, the Concurrence, and most of the Dissent.. I stopped reading the overlong Dissent because it occurred to me that the Dissent wasn’t about the words or the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. The Dissent was about interpreting the Fourteenth Amendment to justify an agenda and, in the process, ignoring the drafters’ intent and the plain meaning of the words that the drafters used. The courts have always done this. Look at the Second Amendment where the courts have interpreted…A well regulated Militia…from that Amendment. All to justify gun ownership by anyone with the money to buy a gun. The Drafters of the 14th Amendment understood “domicile” and knew the words to use if they meant “domicile”. They did not. The Dissent is an argument that should not be given credence, however, it fits the agenda of the current regime. This is what happens when the court has become not a court of justice, equity, or non-biased interpretation of the law, but a corrupt mouthpiece for an agenda.

Maybe the Liberty Bell is a metaphor for the United States. cracked because of error in manufacturing or an error in the materials used to mold the bell…so damaged that it can never sound for us its intended peal. The U.S.’s foundation was cracked, i.e., the lie that all men are created equal is an example. Maybe that crack is so fundamental that this U.S. cannot aspire to the words of its inception.

In one speech, Douglass described how God leveled Sodom and Gomorrah on account of sin, and how, in the aftermath, Abraham stood atop a nearby mountain to survey what remained. “[T]he orator used the image of Abraham looking down upon the destroyed landscape to demand that Americans look down upon their own recent self-destruction, and all but unjustified survival, and remember.”57 Douglass declared that his own aim was to “‘show that nations should have memories.’ Excerpt from Justice Jackson’s Concurrence in 609 U.
