This is the time of year when a random gust of wind will send leaves swirling, wafting across the yard to finally rest on the green grass. This is the time of year that you hear the plunk of walnuts as they hit the ground. This is the time of year when squirrels are burying their winter stash. This is the time of year when the shaded grass is cool to the feet and the sun exposed grass is more than warm. This is the time of year when the leaves turn shades of red, orange, gold. This is the time of year when the leaves are mostly green and the crepe myrtle is still blooming. This is also the time of the butterflies…preparing for migration?

This country wants your labor, but it doesn’t want to give anything in return. As I’ve said before, any tax dollars spent on us citizens is considered fraud, waste, and abuse.
Why are quotas good for rounding up suspected illegal immigrants, but bad for hiring minorities?
What do bullies do? Bullies are cowards. Bullies target the weakest, either physically or mentally, to victimize. The weakling rarely fights back and the bully counts on that response. However, sometimes the weakling has, maybe not a friend, but someone who will benefit it the bully is taken out. We have a bully, a so-called civilized country, murdering citizens of another country on a pretext. If the country of those citizens respond–a war where the bully can obliterate the weakling to show the world what the bull calls “peace” through violent bullying means? However, what if the weakling has a powerful friend? What if that powerful friend responds? What do we have…WWIII? All so a infantile, narcissistic person, who has no clothes, can pretend to be something he could never be. However, the larger picture, those that control the bully…a war would decrease the population, would it not?
Why do the homeless trigger you, a white xenophobic classist, greedy supremacist male, to the point that you say on a nationally televised show that they should be lethally injected? A Black male sat beside that deplorable example of a human being agreeing with him, as though he had no clue that the next group to be lethally injected would include him.
Why do their words of hate, division, murder not raise the temperature? Why do the deplorables project those words on people who do say them? Why do deplorables excuse their own venal behavior, but decry behavior in others that does not rise to such venality? I know…they’re hypocrites…
There’s nothing wrong with being afraid. What’s wrong, but understandable and human, is letting the fear paralyze you. Courage is acting despite being afraid. That’s what our leaders who have made a difference have done. Fear saves not only our lives, but also those who would follow. Fear means one is alert to the dangers that would keep one from reaching one’s goals. Fear pushes one to think of means to overcome those dangers. Fear creates need and need is the mother of invention.

Yes, I tell you again, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.” The Jerusalem Bible All these rich men who have stolen money from we the people who have been pardoned by this regime for corrupt payments directly and indirectly to the regime, where is the accountability? These males do not believe in an afterlife. Now, is their only concern. I read somewhere that the Rapture is supposed to occur this week. I really don’t suppose any of these criminals will lose any sleep over this forecast.
I’ve read that this regime is considering bailing out the white farmers…again. Why? Those farmers voted to be bankrupted. They are the ones who voted the last time and their fellow farmers were bankrupted and maybe even them. But they got a bailout. Maybe, that was their endgame all along…government handout and fallow fields. Taxpayer money–socialism–if bailing out the famers is not fraud, waste, and abuse–what is? And, their selfish socialism–these farmers don’t care that rural hospitals are closing, that doctors are leaving their State, that children don’t get free lunch, that people are hungry. Socialism for me the farmer and screw everyone else is their mantra.
Never forget that forgiveness of student loans, funding for school lunches, funding for education–that is considered fraud, waste, and abuse.
Police procedurals, murder mysteries, private detectives, legal dramas, amateur detectives–why this fascination with these types of shows? These shows are intro level Murder101 to grad level in ways to kill one’s fellow humans.
Well, gardening season is just about over. However–I have noticed that my volunteer plants do so much better than the plants I pay too much per pot for. I have a volunteer tomato plant that is still producing tomatoes. My bought tomatoes are mostly done for the season. I will say that the bought green pepper plants did better this year than they have in the past. The volunteer zinnias do so much better than the seeds I plant to fill in the bare spots.
